Our Story
Mid Shore Animal and Home Sitting, LLC was founded in 2022 by Erin Stubbs, a dedicated animal lover and the owner, manager, and sitter of the business. Erin’s background in business and communication, combined with her deep passion for animals and years of experience caring for her own diverse pets and family animals, led her to create this business to provide professional, compassionate care for both pets and homes in the local community.
As a woman-owned business, Erin started Mid Shore Animal and Home Sitting with the goal of offering flexibility to her growing family while addressing the needs of a much-needed industry in the Eastern Shore area. She has always had a passion for animals and a strong commitment to ensuring they receive the highest level of care.
The business began with Erin as the sole sitter and quickly grew, with Erin accumulating clients all across the Mid Shore region within the first year. As demand increased, Erin expanded the team to include independent contractors, strategically located in specific counties and regions to accommodate her growing client base.

Now, Mid Shore Animal and Home Sitting focuses on maintaining strong relationships with our current clients. We believe in quality over quantity and strive to build lasting connections with our clients. Our goal is to go beyond the typical sitter relationship; we aim to make our sitters an extension of the family. We want our sitters to become familiar with every detail of the client's and animal’s needs, and for the animals to feel excited and comfortable when their sitter arrives.
